Rare Spares is the leader in the Australian Classic Holden & Ford restoration market and prides itself on exceptional customer service and quality products.

Due to the imminent retirement of a team member, we are now actively seeking to appoint an experienced (BPO) Brake Press operator.

About the role: 

• Set up and operate the brake press machine.
• Load tooling as per program 
• Inspect metal whilst shaping it and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform run, bend and forming operations with standard and custom punches. 
• Measure for quality against required tolerances. 
• Check final products to ensure there are no defects. 
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

About you: 

• Brake Press operation experience - Hydrabend preferred but not essential.
• Capable of using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Must be a self-starter and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Someone who prides themselves on quality workmanship with high attention to detail.
• Forklift licence is preferred.
